On May 20th, the intermediate test launch ceremony of solid-state batteries was successfully held in Linwu, Chenzhou, with the joint efforts of Jiusen New Energy and Sichuan An Gao. Ma Tianyi, the deputy mayor of Chenzhou, Xiao Liang, the director of the Science and Technology Bureau, Liu Yang, the secretary of the Linwu County Party Committee, and other leaders attended the ceremony, witnessing this leap moment of innovative technology.
Solid-state batteries take high safety as the core and use non-flammable solid electrolytes to effectively ensure safety. At the same time, this new type of battery has the advantages of high energy density, good cycle performance and wide application range. Not only are they revolutionary in size and weight, they are also able to withstand more charge and discharge cycles and are suitable for a variety of electronic devices and electric vehicles.
Solid-state lithium batteries are an important direction for the development of the lithium battery industry, and the world is actively deploying the research and development and application of solid-state batteries. Compared with traditional liquid lithium-ion batteries, solid-state lithium batteries have the following huge advantages:
1. Mass energy density: The mass energy density limit of liquid lithium-ion batteries is 350Wh/kg, while solid-state batteries can reach 500-600Wh/kg. It is more suitable to use high-nickel materials, lithium-rich manganese base with lithium metal and silicon-carbon materials.
2. Temperature adaptability: Liquid lithium-ion batteries generally work in the temperature range of -30°C to 60°C, while solid-state batteries can operate in a wider temperature range of -40°C to 150°C, and have more outstanding high-temperature cycle life.
3. Life span: Liquid lithium-ion batteries generally have a cycle life of 1,500 times, while solid-state batteries have a cycle life of more than 4,000 times.
4. Safety: In the acupuncture test, the traditional liquid ternary system cannot pass, but the solid ternary high nickel can easily pass.
5. Leakage risk: Once a liquid lithium-ion battery leaks, it can easily cause safety problems such as fire and corrosion, while solid-state batteries do not have leakage problems.
